Investing in Integrated Lighting Systems

Integrated Lighting systems are now more of a concept than a clearly defined system. Dozens of specialized businesses install packages which are labeled as Integrated Lighting, and these companies offer a specific package of features. The defining feature provided with these systems is flexibility and intelligence. Specific companies will most often combine their own combination of sensors and ballasts which standardize the level of power which is used. Some designers use a combination of solar and electrical power to significantly lower energy costs, and others merely exploit  the intelligent use of ambient natural light to lower electrical usage. Depending on the priorities of your organization, and the region you live in, you can discover several features that will make your job simpler. A nice option are solar power lights & sets.

Solar LED Lights have seen widespread use for decades, yet we have discovered one or two problems which remain tough to overcome. In certain regions of the world, daylight hours are short during the winter months, and during these same months, solar collection devices could be rendered useless by cloud cover or snow. By producing a system which accesses solar power when it can, and converts to electric power when required, some companies have efficiently blended energy savings with constant power availability.

Other brands use theories like Harvesting Daylight to use traditional power sources in a more reasonable style. To help you harvest daylight, a group of specifically arranged sensors measures the natural brightness levels in a building and then depends on ballasts to adjust the artificial light output accordingly. Of course, a shop or office which now uses skylights or solar tunnels will benefit most from this technology, although any structure with sufficient windows could experience an energy savings from this feature. Harvesting daylight allows for a area to be efficiently illuminated at all times without the lamps being completely lit day and night.

Using programmable timers is a tried and true system in building management. Timing lights to mechanically turn on or off at predetermined times is able to make an entry area safer and more accommodating. The issue with timers, though, is that overriding them is not often straightforward or practical. This will result in entryways or salesroom floors being unnecessarily lit on Christmas morning, or workers fumbling through darkened hallways only because they start work early or stay late. When these timers are incorporated with occupancy sensors, however, the “common sense” factor may be used. Any time a employee is in the room, it is lit, although any time a room is unoccupied for very long, the lights are shut off.

If you have the chance to help with the construction of a new factory, or upgrade an outdated one, it will be a good idea to contact an Solar LED Power Light Set company in your area. As soon as you learn about the energy savings which could be the result of a single purchase of integrated lighting, you’ll wonder why your company didn’t check into it sooner.
