Cody, also known as Buffalo Bill, who began the development of the dam. This dam stands at a staggering 353 feet tall and is 200 feet wide, and 108 feet at the base. The dam was designed to be the largest dam in the world as it helps to irrigate over 93,000 acres in the Big Horn Basin.

Idea #3: Ulrich’s Fossil Gallery, Kemmerer, Wyoming is home to some of the best fossilized fish around the world. It was originally started in 1947 by Carl and Shirley Ulrich in an attempt to collect and learn more about the aquatic life that once lived in this region of Wyoming. Now considered to be the one of the best places to find and harvest fossils, the Ulrichs’ now supply fossils from their quarry to museums, galleries and private collectors from all over the world.
